Receives items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries and unpacking containers.
Verifies items received inspecting the condition, quantity to purchase order and noting discrepancies.
Documents items received.
Transfers orders received to correct departments.
Ensures proper paperwork accompanies orders
Reports damaged items and shortages.
Performs all Made to Manage receiving responsibilities
Performs inventory task.
Observes all company safety procedures.
Helps to stock shelves by sorting received items into their correct bin location. Maintains order and cleanliness of warehouse.
Certified fork lift operator for all material handling duties.
Drives Company Vehicle when necessary
Assist in shipping task
Assist with baling of scrap material
Must have valid driver’s license
Must have good driving record
Must be fork lift certified- (must be obtained here)
Must have high school diploma or GED
Physical and Mental Requirements
Lift objects from one level to another (up to 50 lbs.).
Carry objects (up to 50 lbs.).
Stoop/crouch by bending your legs or bending down/forward at the waist.
Reach by extending the hands/arms.
Walk around the facility on foot.
Stand on your feet.
Add, subtract, multiply, divide and record. Balance and check results for accuracy.
Operate material handling equipment by pushing and pulling.
